Teigrod Teilo has become increasingly popular. We now have over 100 Registered members – Primary School children between the ages of 6 and 11, and we have 3 Teams (2 Under 11 Teams, 1 Under 9 Team) competing in the Carmarthen Mini League on the Astroturf at Johnstown Leisure Centre.
From September 2008 we will have an Under 13 and 12 Team (11 a side) competing in the Carmarthenshire League, and 4 Teams (U11, U10, U9, U8) in the Carmarthen Mini League. Our long term ambition is to see Teigrod Teilo Teams competing at every age groups from Youth to Under 6.
To achieve such an ambition a number of changes have been made. New compulsory Club Accreditation Rules have been introduced by the FAW (Football Association of Wales) and we have achieved our Bronze FAW Accreditation. The accreditation rules include strict guidelines on Player Registration, Insurance, Coach Qualifications, Welfare issues etc. All these changes greatly benefit the Club and the children but it does involve a lot more work.

Monday night training and registration will commence on Monday 8th September at the astroturf, Ysgol Tregib. 6pm for Years 2-5 and 7pm for Years 6-8.
